Jazz Party

April 30 Jazz Party in the American corner of the library was crowned with a jazz month (Jazz Appreciation Month). Members of the Corner, visitors to language clubs and students of the ACCESS English language school spent April under the sad and lyrical, expressive and rhythmic compositions of the most weighty, innovative and free American music.

Jazz is music of states, experiences, pure emotions. The boys listened, danced and performed Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Benny Goodman ..

For those wishing to go deeper into the jazz philosophy in the American Corner, a book exhibition was organized that tells how the art of improvised music originated and developed, tells about the transitions of the life and work of the greatest American jazz performers. The exhibition is complemented by a selection of music discs that adjusts to a jazz wave and allows you to fully enjoy outstanding improvisations, complex melodic lines, virtuosic technique of performance, unique voices and unprecedented depth of emotions.

Jazz can be spoken endlessly. It is music that knows no bounds and limits, music that can breathe life and energy, awaken from winter hibernation. Come to the American Corner to learn more about jazz and to listen to bold, untiring, warming music!
