Irina S. Unzhakova - international expert on gender policy, Chairman of the Board "Women's Federation« Status », business coach, expert of the National Commission for Women Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of Kazakhstan, a permanent member of our library, was elected deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan the new convocation of the party "Nur Otan".

We congratulate Irina S. with the election victory and want to hear it again, what issues it will deal as the deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament.

- I was a part of ecology and nature management committee. When I found out that I will work on that committee, I scared a little, because for me it is a new sphere, my social activities, the gender policy. On the other hand I was very happy, because, in fact, environmental issues to Ust-Kamenogorsk, Eastern Kazakhstan - the most urgent, and I am convinced that the relationship with the homeland I have not lost. And the task I see is that the legislation that we adopt, it has contributed to creating a favorable environment for living.
