On the eve of the Constitution Day , 27 August , in the library of A.S.Pushkin took the program "My Motherland - My Kazakhstan " . There was presentation of the exhibition literature "The Constitution - the fundamental law of the state" headed by our meeting with readers.

26 августа активисты клуба любителей книги «PROчтение» вновь посетили Восточно-Казахстанский музей искусств. На сей раз нам посчастливилось поучаствовать в открытии персональной выставки члена Союза художников Республики Казахстан Ержана Турганбаева. Разножанровая, многостилевая экспозиция «Параллели» была посвящена Дню Конституции нашей страны.

Путешествие - это всегда интересно, новые города, люди. Кто-то едет  на  поезде, или летит самолетом  в дальние страны, кто-то совершает велопробеги или  пешком добирается до  самых высоких вершин. Гости нашей библиотеки  Павел Бусырев и Надежда Коробова с Урала, город Пермь.

Poster of the East Kazakhstan Oblast Pushkin library (http://www.pushkinlibrary.kz)recognized as the best poster presentation of the World Library and Information Congress: 82nd IFLA Conference (International Federation of Library Associations and Libraries). It has information on the IFLA website - http://www.ifla.org/node/10821. This is the first report of the poster in the history of librarianship in Kazakhstan, which was presented to the international library community. Congress was held 14 - 19 August 2016 in Columbus (Ohio, USA). There were presented 205 poster presentations from libraries around the world, including 2 - from CIS countries: Kazakhstan and Russia.
