Poster of the East Kazakhstan Oblast Pushkin library (http://www.pushkinlibrary.kz)recognized as the best poster presentation of the World Library and Information Congress: 82nd IFLA Conference (International Federation of Library Associations and Libraries). It has information on the IFLA website - http://www.ifla.org/node/10821. This is the first report of the poster in the history of librarianship in Kazakhstan, which was presented to the international library community. Congress was held 14 - 19 August 2016 in Columbus (Ohio, USA). There were presented 205 poster presentations from libraries around the world, including 2 - from CIS countries: Kazakhstan and Russia.

Poster is called " Readers are Leaders at the East Kazakhstan Regional Public Library!." He talks about the project "Rural Library online centers" , which has been successfully implemented on the basis of rural libraries in East Kazakhstan . The project started in 2012, 32 rural -line center was opened with the technical support of the UN Development Program and in partnership with local government .In 2016 the number increased to 45 online centers, the villagers here are trained basic computer and Internet literacy, familiar with the e-government portal and receive online public services, are trained to use Skype for online consultations Pushkin library lawyer, business -consultation, communication, etc. As part of the project, together with regional and district departments of enterprise development seminars on business planning, advice for existing and aspiring entrepreneurs. During the period from 2012 to 2016 the library online centers have registered 41365 rural users , the ICT 6741 held trainings and seminars for local residents . In 2016, the Resolution of Akim of East Kazakhstan region D.K.Ahmetov about connecting all rural libraries to the Internet. Support the project by local authorities is an important link in its further successful development.
