You can spell the word quickly and easily in the headline? Have difficulties? Come to the American CornerAmerican Corner library and join the club «Spelling Bee»! We invite you in a playful way to cope with the difficulties of English spelling, extend their vocabulary, and most importantly - prepare for participation in the same spelling contest.
American National Scripps competition - competition in the pronunciation of words to spell, or «Spelling Bee» held in many countries around the world. This year, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Kazakh-American relations, this prestigious competition starts in 11 American Corners in Kazakhstan under the auspices of the US diplomatic mission. The contest final will take place directly at he US Embassyt in Astana. The winners will receive valuable prizes and gifts. The cost of a day trip and a stay in Astana expenses are also paid US Embassy.
To participate in the competition is open to students of universities and colleges in the age of 18+. The condition of the competition is only the spelling of American English. The selected word is pronounced twice. Participants may ask for clarification of the definition and use of the word in a sentence. Member starts with pronunciation of words, and then he says the word letter by letter. User can re Pronounce anytime. Stays to continue until the scene does not remain three participants.
