French spring in the library

Spring is a special time. Like breathing the air of life, renewal and happiness. I remember the wonderful masterpieces of music and painting that absorbed all the freshness and tenderness of the springtime. Waiting for something special ... Therefore it is very symbolic that it is in the spring, with the support of the Department of Culture and Cooperation (SCAC) of the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan and the network of French alliances, the annual Festival of Francophonie - a holiday in honor of the most romantic country in the world - Her Majesty of France.

Within the framework of the Festival, on March 26 at 15.00 in the East Kazakhstan Regional Library named after A.S. Pushkin, with the support of Irtysh ''Power and Light'', will host a festival of French culture. Its motivation will be a competition for a francophone song, because a special note to the refined French language is given by music. We hope that local musical gourmets will be able to enjoy the sensual sound of the French language, the flight of voices and the original images of the contestants.

The jury of the contest is represented by famous people and the music elite of our city. The participants of the selection competition will be awarded with certificates and prizes from sponsors, and the winners will receive a referral for participation in the final of the contest in Shymkent. And already there the best of the best will be determined, and the winner in the category "francophone" is awarded a prize - a trip to France, and a laureate in the category "nonfrankofon" - an air ticket to France (round-trip).

Also at the later period, the results of the essay contest in honor of the great Victor Hugo will be summed up. The task of the participants of the literary competition was their ability to express their thoughts on the famous quotations of the French romantic writer.
