The warmth of the Kazakh land

Since February 24, the library has launched an exhibition "Kazakh zheri - birlik pentatulyk mekeni / Heat of the Kazakh land". This holiday is celebrated on March 1, 2016, on the day of the creation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. The exposition of documentary and fiction books reveals the history and culture of the multi-ethnic people of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition opens with the theme of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. For this significant date, a luxurious photo album "Kazakhstan: a country of peace and harmony" was released - a real treasure for researchers of the history of our country. There are also books on the activities of ethnocultural centers.

The second section presents studies by historians of East Kazakhstan and collections of documents that will tell about the tragic destinies of representatives of various ethnic groups who, against their will, appeared in our region. This block of literature is crowned with a collection of documents "From the history of deportations: Kazakhstan 1930-1935", the first book of a series of documentary collections "From the history of deportation to Kazakhstan", carried out by the Archives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in conjunction with the Central St

ate Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, a number of local history publications are of certain interest. These are lists of the deported population of the North Caucasus to East Kazakhstan, published in the book by A. Aubakirov "Children of the Mountains", the monograph by N. Krutova "Jews in the land of eastern Kazakhstan", research by L. Burgart "From the history of German settlements in East Kazakhstan". And also the works of N. Petelskaya and I. The exposition ends with a section dedicated to the culture and traditions of the ethnic groups of Kazakhstan, as well as a wide range and color of national costumes.
