«On the waves of knowledge»

Dear friends! An exciting new school year full of interesting discoveries is coming soon! East Kazakhstan Regional Library named after A.S. Pushkin opened the exhibition "Along the Waves of Knowledge" for you.

It presents a variety of publications, fiction, reference, scientific and educational literature for schoolchildren, parents and teachers, as well as books on the history of Kazakh pedagogy, educational psychology.
Our exhibition begins with the history of pedagogy. Valuable time-tested pedagogical experience is analyzed and structured in the books: "Theoretical and applied foundations of folk pedagogy of Kazakhs" by Asma Kalybekova, "Anthology of pedagogical thought of Kazakhstan" in two volumes. You will draw wisdom and inspiration from the books of great teachers: "Frivolous Pedagogy" by Janusz Korczak, the works of Konstantin Ushinsky.
This year marks the 180th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kazakh teacher - educator Ibrai Altynsarin, and of course, at the exhibition you will find his works, works on pedagogy and poetry.
On the eve of the Day of Knowledge, one cannot but recall the founder of Kazakh professional pedagogy, Seiteshev Azhes, who devoted more than fifty years to scientific and pedagogical activity. The exhibition features a thirty-volume edition of his selected pedagogical works.
There are children whose teaching requires a special approach, the books will help teachers in this: “There are no unteachable children! A book about early intervention”, “Speech therapy. Teaching aid”, “Development of basic skills in children with autism” by Tara Delaney.
School life is not only about homework and tasks, there is always a place for a holiday. Books will help to organize a school holiday: “School years are wonderful. Reading! This is the best teaching! How to instill in a child a love of reading? How to make reading as effective as possible? These questions will be answered by books: "Born to Read" by Jason Bug, "Lesson Development for Reading", "How to Read Books" by Mortimer Adler.
