East Kazakhstan Regional Library named after AS Pushkin invites you to visit the book exhibition “Тіл – келісім мен достықтың негізі” / “Язык - основа дружбы и согласия”, dedicated to the national holiday - the Day of Languages.

This holiday symbolizes the unity and harmony between peoples. Kazakhstanis are a close-knit family of more than 100 ethnic groups. The real ornament of the exhibition is the album «Казахстан: страна мира и согласия» released for the 25th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and detailing the activities of this unique institution of interethnic interaction. The encyclopedic reference book “Народы Казахстана” and the sociolinguistic reference book “Языки Казахстана” are of interest.
It is symbolic that on September 5, a Kazakh public figure was born, one of the founders of Kazakh linguistics and literary criticism, scientist and literary critic Akhmet Baitursynov. The exhibition presents the collection of works of the scientist, as well as the works of N. Dzhuanyshbekov, K. Sarsekeev, M. - Kh. Suleimanov about his life and work.
A special place in the exposition is occupied by the works of Abai Kunanbayev, translated into various languages. In our electronic library “Наш Абай”, you can also find the writer's works in Kazakh, Russian and other languages of the world.
No one will be left indifferent by the works of the outstanding modern writer and thinker Gerold Karlovich Belger – “Казахское слово", "О, казахи мои!..”, “Властитель – слово”, “Гармония духа"… His work is distinguished by special sincerity and sincerity, imbued with love and concern for the fate of the modern Kazakh language and literature.
The works of Aitbaev O., Kenesbaev I., Isaev S., Zhubanov A. are devoted to the issues of Kazakh linguistics. The book of the famous Kazakh linguist-Turkologist Sarsen Amanzholov "Вопросы диалектологии и истории казахского языка" will be of interest to both students and teachers, and a wide range of readers.
At the exhibition, you can also get acquainted with textbooks for the study of the state language - "Понятный казахский с упражнениями и ответами" by Elena Romanenko, "Казахский язык для стран СНГ" by U. E. Musabekova, dictionaries and phrasebooks - Arabic-Russian-Kazakh "Добро пожаловать в Астану!”, the “ Тілдескіш” series.
Among the magazines presented at the exhibition are “Туған тіл”, “Қазақ тілі және әдебиеті / Русский язык и литература”, “Тіл және әдебиет / Язык и литература”, “Тіл”, “Түркі тілдес елдер / Тюркоязычные страны”.
The wealth of the language is the national pride of every country. This invaluable heritage has been passed down from generation to generation.
The literature presented at the exhibition fosters love and respect for the native language and one's country, serves to expand the knowledge of the languages of the ethnic groups of Kazakhstan.
