2016 year is the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. American Corner in our Library dedicates poetry competition to this beautiful date. The contest will  held on April 29, 2016 at 15.00 p.m. in one round without preliminary selection of participants .

Contestants - pupils and students aged 13 years and up to 22 years , will present the poetry about Kazakhstan in three or more languages ​​, one of which must be English. Welcome music , scenery , costumes , which will create a special atmosphere and contribute to emotional perception of competitive readings .

Multilingualism - part of the national ideology of Kazakhstan , the basis of the formation of a "citizen of the world" , to understand and accept other people, open to mutual understanding among and cooperation. The organizers hope that the competition will arouse the interest of young people tobooksand reading , will be an additional motivator for language learning and contributes to realization of the idea of the trinity Kazakh languages.
