Hall of French literature

In May 2003, with the support of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan was opened in the Library Hall of French literature. The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of France to Kazakhstan Gerard Perrole. Embassy donated the collection to the new hall of educational courses, a series of specialized dictionaries to study the French language.
It is printed and audio-video tutorials for everyone of all ages and levels. In addition, the publication provides a panorama presented video games, fiction, children's literature, atlases, dictionaries and encyclopedias yearbooks, official literature and books on art and cinema. Under the project, a member of our library has undergone training in the libraries of the French capital - Paris.
The project has attracted new users to the library, in particular students and teachers of French. And for those who still do not know French, we have a series of books about France in the Kazakh and Russian languages. Thanks to the project, we have to introduce new ways of working, developed an interest in regional geographic information, language and culture of France.
