American Cultural Center

American Cultural Center - US Department of State grant (December, 2003). The goal - to provide access to information on the US to promote the development of relations in the sphere of education, popularization of American culture.
We are the first library in Kazakhstan, launching pad Programs US Department of State to establish American Corners. The project purchased 3 computers, LCD top box, a digital camera, a collection of literature in English. In addition, we regularly receive new publications contributed information resource center.
The project is currently developing steadily, attracting more and more users. The center works of film and discussion clubs. Actively involve volunteers, a visiting American professor. During election campaigns based on the American cultural center run by international observers. At the initiative of the American Cultural Center established the Association of American over the country and joint projects.
