22 июня в день 75-летия начала Великой Отечественной войны наша библиотека  получила в дар новую книгу «Герои Великой Победы-казахстанцы»: в областном филиале партии «Нұр Отан» состоялось вручение книги представителям библиотек, учебных заведении, ветеранских организации. Партией «Нұр Отан» презентация книги была проведена ранее в мае месяце в преддверии празднования 71-годовщины Великой Победы.

June 16 the American Corner library took part in the international conference "Modern trends in technical training and the teaching of English in terms of industrial-innovative development of Kazakhstan" and the 13th conference of the National KazTEA. Events were held in the East Kazakhstan State Technical University named after Daulet Serikbaev and were timed to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, establishment of official relations of sovereign Kazakhstan to the United Kingdom and the United States and close cooperation in the field of culture and education

In our city held a three-day seminar for teachers on the program Access the US State Department . This two-year program gives  opportunity to children from low-income families free of charge to learn English, learn about American culture and develop leadership skills.
