Online Summer School
Summer School Library Internet was launched in August 1999. The idea was born in February 1998 with the arrival in the Library. AS Pushkin Vadim Stepanov, professor (then the senior lecturer) of the Moscow University of Culture and Arts. The library has won a grant for the opening of the online class and Stepanov invited to conduct training for librarians to effectively search the Internet.
Since then, the Internet has become a school librarian annual event of our Association. The goal - improving the professional skills of finding information on the Internet, the introduction and use of its technology for the development of information services.
Online Summer School - 2000 and 2001 supported by "Open Society Institute" (Budapest, Hungary). Internet School of 2002 and 2003 were organized with the elements of distance learning. They are supported by the program SCOUT (funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs US Department of State (ECA), in accordance with the Fulbright-Hays Act of 1961, administered by the Institute "Open Society" (OSI) and the Civil Educational Project (CEP).
